Fill in the CITING work (the one that cites your work), the NACID indicator and where exactly the citation is, then press “Save”. The entry is checked here and on GitHub (sign in with your account): the rules for a new publication, the DOI / ISSN / ISBN in the public registers and the NACID rules for citations. If everything is correct, the citation appears in the “Summary report” automatically.
Fill in the fields and press “Save”. The entry is checked here; then on GitHub (where you sign in with your own account) the DOI, ISSN or ISBN is checked in the public registers. If everything is correct, the publication appears on the site automatically.

How to write the authors in APA style
- Each author: surname, comma, initials with full stops — “Madzharov, A.”. Two initials: “González-deSantos, L. M.”
- Separate authors with commas; put “&” before the last one (with a comma before it for 3+ authors).
- Keep the order of the paper. Do not shorten with “et al.”.
- Particles stay lowercase: “del Estad Herrero, A.”, “van der Berg, J.”
Examples:Madzharov, A.Gaidarski, I., & Madzharov, A.Madzharov, A., Hristozov, S., & Gaidarski, I.Чехларова, Н., & Чехларова, К.
What the full APA reference looks like
Journal article: Authors (Year). Title. Journal, Volume(Issue), pages. https://doi.org/…
Madzharov, A., Hristozov, S., & Gaidarski, I. (2026). Compensations for horizontal inertial components of INS/GNSS with flight altitude. Engineering Proceedings, 150(1), 70. https://doi.org/10.3390/engproc2026150070
Conference paper: Authors (Year). Title. Proceedings name, pages. Publisher. DOI
Book: Author (Year). Title. Publisher.
You do not type the whole reference — the site assembles it from the fields. The “APA preview” below the form shows the result.
What is checked
- Required: authors, year, title, category, journal (or publisher for books), at least one topic.
- A team member must be among the authors.
- Every co-author outside the team must have a known institution. Known co-authors are shown with their institution; for new ones you are asked to give it — as stated in the publication itself.
- DOI as 10.xxxx/…; pages as “45–67” or a number.
- Without a DOI the entry is not accepted until you choose an identifier type (ISSN, eISSN, ISBN or eISBN) and enter a valid number — the check digit is verified. Only the number goes in the field, no Q, SJR, etc.
- On GitHub the site checks the public registers: DOI at doi.org and Crossref / DataCite (the title must match); ISSN at NACID NRS and ISSN Portal; ISBN at NACID NRS, Crossref and Open Library. If the number is not found or a register does not respond, the entry is refused. Books and proceedings missing from these registers are entered by the head of the lab.
- The NACID NRS ID is set automatically from the register.
- A submitted or in-press paper always has category “Submitted / in press” — quartile (Q1–Q4) and SJR are given only once it is out. For published Q1–Q4 and “SJR, no quartile” — SJR and/or IF.
- Every publication is logged; the head of the lab is notified and can withdraw it with one click.
- The publication must not already be on the site: the same DOI, or the same title with at least one common author. All site publications are checked, including those just entered. On a match the screen shows the publication found and why; the data stay in the form for correction.
- On GitHub: the request must come from your account. Only the accounts of team members listed in “Team” are accepted.
NACID rules for citations (checked automatically)
- No self-citations: you cannot be among the authors of the citing work.
- The citing work is already published and is not older than the cited one.
- Each citing source counts once per cited work (same DOI or title → refused).
- D-12 (10 pts) — only if the citing work is indexed in Scopus or Web of Science (state which).
- D-13 (3 pts) — peer-reviewed monograph or edited volume (proceedings).
- D-14 (2 pts) — non-indexed peer-reviewed journal; requires the journal ISSN / eISSN.
- Evidence: DOI (data and references from Crossref), link (the page or PDF) or a PDF attached on GitHub. Your work must be found in the citing one: by DOI / ISBN or by its title (or translation) next to your surname. Otherwise the citation is refused.
- With a link or PDF the title of the citing work must be in the page / file — this checks it is the right one.
- The DOI, ISSN or ISBN of the citing work is checked in the public registers, as for a new publication.
- The request is accepted only from the GitHub account of the team member whose work it is, or from the head of the lab.
How the site is updated after “Save”
- “Save” opens GitHub with a ready request (Issue). If you are not signed in, GitHub asks you to sign in.
- Press the green “Create” button. Do not change the request text.
- Within about a minute the automatic check replies. On error: open the “Fix in the form” link, correct and press “Save” again (the old request closes itself).
- On success the request gets “✅ Published on the site” with what was checked and where. The head of the lab is notified.
- The site updates itself in about a minute. The publication is on the yearly page under “Publications → Archive” and in the “Summary report” of every co-author from the team. Refresh with Ctrl+F5.
